Red Coat Tuesday featuring Chaos & Crocodiles Never Give Up On A Miracle

Hey there! There's a new episode of Pretty Little Liars on tonight so that means I have a new Red Coat Tuesday mani for you!  

This week I'm wearing Chaos & Crocodiles Never Give Up On A Miracle.  This polish is a gorgeous cranberry-red ultra linear holographic polish with a violet arc. This is two coats of the polish, but it could have been a one coater. I just always prefer two coats! 

I wanted to show you this in different light. Isn't the holo in this fantastic?  I am in love with this color. Although it's from an X-Files collection I think it works fine for Red Coat Tuesday too!  

Now onto the PLL chat!  Spoiler Alert for those of you not caught up. Let's start with Spencer and her lunch "appointment" with Yvonne. First off, who set that up? Mona? And second, why would Yvonne leave her phone? She wouldn't have, and it's very convenient that Mona was the one there to pick it up. What is she up to?  I think Spencer and Aria are crazy to search Sara Harvey's room! I wouldn't want to get caught by her, but I am intrigued to see where the hole in her closet wall leads. 

Overall I thought it was a good episode. What did you think? What are you looking forward to for tonight's episode? I'm curious to see how Ali knows the golf club wasn't the murder weapon and what actually was!

Red Coat Tuesday - Pahlish Blood On The Mountain II

Hey there!  I'm so excited that we've decided to continue with Red Coat Tuesday now that Pretty Little Liars is back on.  To be honest, I'm not sure how I feel about this season yet, but I do love the show so I was happy to participate again! 

 

I've also been doing an alphabetical untrieds challenge which is just a personal challenge I started to make myself change my polish more often and to get through more untrieds. Each day I wear a new color, and I select them alphabetically by brand.  For my "P" post I selected Pahlish Blood Of The Mountain II which fit perfectly for Red Coat Tuesday. 

Blood Of The Mountain II is a beautiful garnet red jelly with a mix of pink and gold flakes and scattered holographic flakes. It's stunning!  I definitely see this color as a shade one of the liars would wear!  

 

Pahlish has become one of my favorite indie brands.  I think that her finishes are stunning and the flakes in this polish are no exception.  Also, you can't go wrong with a nice dark red polish! 

SPOILER ALERT (for those of you not caught up): For a long time I thought Ezra was A, and now it seems to be pointing in that direction again. I don't think it's him though.  I'm not sure who murdered Charlotte, but it doesn't feel like it's Ezra to me.  Also, what the hell is going on with Spencer and Caleb? Whatever it is, it's not right!

Stardust Polish Sophie

Hey there! Today I have a gorgeous polish for you.  This is Stardust Polish Sophie, and the moment I saw it I knew I had to have it! 

Sophie is a deep burgundy creme with intense indigo flash.  In one word it's stunning!  

This is three thin coats with topcoat.  I could have gotten away with two coats, but I wanted it to be completely opaque.  I will be honest the color definitely got darker with each cost so if you want more of a reddish color I would recommend two coats.  

The formula on this polish was great. I sometimes have a hard time doing thin coats, but not with this polish.  I had a little bit of dragging, but that was my own fault for not having enough polish on the brush.  

I really love this polish. I don't want to take it off.  It's perfect for work and play!  Drema from Stardust Polish knocked it out of the park with this one!

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Pink Sugar Sunsets

Hey there!  Today I have for you a gorgeous polish from Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer called Pink Sugar Sunsets. 

Pink Sugar Sunsets is a bubblegum pink creme with rainbow iridescent micro glitters and aqua shimmers.  This is two coats plus topcoat. 

Each month Julie from Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer does a Destination Duo collaboration with another indie maker. The polishes are based on a photo from one of the makers' vacations.  This was from the May box and based on Sugar Beach in St. Thomas.  

I really love the shimmers in this polish which you can see well in the picture above.  This polish is so beautiful. I didn't want to take it off my nails!
