Chaos & Crocodiles LH07

*purchased by me*

Hey there!  I'm so excited about the polish I have for you today.  It's Chaos & Crocodiles LH07, and it's a beautiful pink holo.

LH07 is a soft pink linear holo.  I have been looking for the perfect light pink holo, and I think I finally found it!  This is two coats with topcoat, and the application was amazing!

LH07 is part of the Chaos & Crocodiles LH series which means that there is only one batch of this polish that will be released. I'm so excited I was able to get one!

This is my first LH collection polish, but I hope to get more in the future. I love a good holo, and Chaos & Crocodiles' holos are some of my favorites!

Have you gotten any LH polishes from Chaos & Crocodiles? Do you have a color/finish of polish that you've been dying to get your hands on?

Chaos & Crocodiles can be purchased at www.chaosandcrocodiles.com and don't forget to follow them on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

A2Z Series Week 6 - F is for Fashion

*purchased by me*

Hey there! It's week six of the A2Z Weekly Challenge, and this week F is for Fashion.  I knew what I wanted to do for this week and actually did it!

I have always wanted to try plaid nails so figured this was the perfect time to do Burberry nails!  Here's a picture of the infamous Burberry plaid that I got my inspiration from.

I used three coats of Zoya Avery on my ring and pinky fingers and four coats of Zoya Kristi on my index and middle fingers.  To do the Burberry design on my ring finger I used L.A. Colors nail art stripers. I finished everything up with KBShimmer Clearly On Top topcoat.

This was my first time using stripers for nail art, and I can't believe I haven't used them sooner. I definitely need to get more colors. Although I still need some practice with the stripers I'm really happy with how this turned out.

What would you do for nails inspired by fashion? Have you tried nail art stripers yet?

Don't forget to check out the other bloggers participating in the challenge and remember to check back every Thursday to see all the creations.  Next week is G is for Gold.  Leave me a comment letting me know what you'd like to see for this theme!  For the complete A2Z Archive head over to the hubpage HERE!

Stardust Polish The More You Gnome

*purchased by me*

Hey there! Today I have for you Stardust Polish The More You Gnome.  This polish was in the limited edition November G.N.O.M.E. Box, and I'm so glad I got it!  These pictures are three coats with topcoat.

For those of you that don't know the G.N.O.M.E. Box is a monthly box with two limited edition polishes from Rica Polish and Stardust Polish and sometimes something extra from one of the makers. G.N.O.M.E. Stands for Glitter Nerds of Magical Existence so if you're a glitter/sparkle lover this box is great for you!

The More You Gnome is a dusty, navy blue linear holo.  It's absolutely stunning.  I love blue polishes, and navy's are some of my favorites. Add in some holo, and I'm in love!

Even when the holo is not in full force this color is beautiful. The picture below was taken indoors in the bad lighting in my room, but I wanted to show you the color without the strong holo effect.  This is why I call it a dusty, navy blue.

G.N.O.M.E Boxes retail for $16.00 plus shipping and are sold monthly, but there is a limited quality so you need to definitely check the makers' facebook pages to see when they're coming out, and which store is selling them.

Have you gotten any G.N.O.M.E. Boxes yet? Are there any other monthly boxes you love?

You can purchase Stardust Polish at www.stardustpolish.com or in her Etsy shop. Don't forget to follow her on Facebook and Instagram. Rica Polish is sold in her Etsy shop.  Follow her on Instagram and Facebook as well to make sure you know when and where the boxes will be sold.

Cirque Colors Never Nude

*purchased by me*

Hey there!  Today I have for you Cirque Colors Never Nude.  I've actually had this polish for a while, but this is the first time I've worn it.

Never Nude is a champagne colored linear holo.  These pictures are two coats with topcoat.  The formula on this was great as was the wear time. I had it on for four days with no tip wear and just one small chip.

I love how this color changes in different lighting.  It's like wearing a different color when you don't have time to change it!

I was lucky enough to meet the owner & creator, Annie Pham, at a sample sale in Brooklyn last year.  She was so nice, and it was fun getting to see unreleased colors and learn more about the brand.

What do you think of this color? Do you have any polishes you've owned for a long time that you've yet to try? I have way too many!

Cirque Colors can be purchased at www.cirquecolors.com.  Don't forget to follow them on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

A2Z Series Week 5 - E is for Elegant

*purchased by me*

Hey there!  It's week five of the A2Z Challenge, and this week E is for Elegant.  To me elegant is a very simple and refined look which I think this manicure is.

I started with two coats of Zoya Dovima and let them dry completely.
Using Nailene Perfect Tips, French tip guides, I added Zoya Raven to the tips.

I think of black dresses and tuxedos when I think of elegance, and I would totally wear a manicure like this if I was attending a black tie affair!

With Thanksgiving on Thursday I did rush this look a little bit and chose something very simple.  Hopefully I'll have more time next week to think of something creative.

What do you think of this look?  What would you do for elegant nails?

You can purchase Zoya nail polishes at www.zoya.com and don't forget to follow them on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Don't forget to check out the other bloggers participating in the challenge and remember to check back every Thursday to see all the creations.  Next week is F is for Fashion.  Leave me a comment letting me know what you'd like to see for this theme!  For the complete A2Z Archive head over to the hubpage HERE!

Pumpkin Pie Nails

*purchased by me*

Hey there!  With Thanksgiving on Thursday, I decided to do some nail art featuring one of my favorite things about Thanksgiving  - Pumpkin Pie!

I started with two coats of Essie Partner In Crime as my base color.  I did a review of this color yesterday which you can see here.

Using tape I made a triangle on my ring finger and painted it with F4 Polish Punkin Pie which is a custom polish I had made last year.  Then with a dotting tool and Essie Sand Tropez I added the crust of the pie.

I loved how my pie slice turned out so decided to add a slice to all of my nails!

And no piece of pumpkin pie is complete without whipped cream!  I used Rica Whiteout and a toothpick to make my whipped cream.

What do you think of this look? What are some of your favorite things about Thanksgiving?

Thanks for reading and have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Essie Partner In Crime

*purchased by me*

Hey there! Today I have for you Essie Partner In Crime.  This color is from their Fall 2014 Dress To Kilt Collection and is a rich, dark brown creme.

I've been trying to get into brown polishes so bought this one realizing I have no dark browns in my collection.  This is two coats with topcoat, but I could have gotten away with one coat.

The formula on this polish was great. I'm regretting not getting any others from this collection.

What are some colors you don't have many of that you want to try?

Don't forget to follow Essie on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
